Burn Severity Datasets

Two types of assessment are available for download: initial and extended assessments. Initial assessments are generated shortly after the fire to support initial fieldwork. Extended assessments are generated during the next growing season to assess vegetation survival and delayed mortality. Both assessments yield a standard suite of products.
