Data for all processed BAER imagery support requests are available here, sorted by year and by geographic region. The BAER Imagery Support program provides a set of publicly available data products for each fire including pre-fire and post-fire imagery, a differenced Normalized Burn Ratio, a cloud mask file (if available) and metadata. These products are intended for use in a Geographic Information System (GIS) and require GIS software for full utilization. They can be downloaded from the Preliminary Data tab. Following the BAER team assessment, a validated soil burn severity classification also becomes available. This dataset is downloaded from the Soil Burn Severity tab. Prior to 2012, the burn severity classification was available as part of the standard data bundle and those products are still included on this site.
